This imposing late 17th century table from the Perigord region of France features a pair of beautifully turned legs resting on curved volutes between the trestle, The apron is finely carved - with a square-nail motif which is repeated on the leg bases
The walnut wood top glows with a rich patina and measures 118" in length and 36.5" in width, more than sufficient for seating between 12 and 14 guests. The table is 30.5" high, allowing use of most chairs.
