Superb example of a Louis XVI period giltwood console table with marble top. The breche d'alep marble top is resting above a paneled beaded freize carved with scrolling foliate designs and foliate swags. The legs are joined by a stretcher decorated and ornamented at the center by a superb classical urn surmounted by a bouquet of flowers - see details. Superb giltwood execution. The marble was restored in the 19th c.
